The forthcoming testing operations by the 96th Test Wing at Eglin Air Force Base will require the temporary closure of Highway 85 and State Road 123, impacting local traffic patterns on August 8.

The tests will occur within specific time frames to minimize disruption to motorists, according to info released by the 96th Test Wing’s Public Affairs Office. 

The road closures will be implemented between 9 a.m. and noon, with each closure period not exceeding 90 minutes.

In the unlikely event that the testing operations slated for August 8 are postponed or canceled, a backup mission window has been scheduled for August 11 from 9 a.m. to noon.
