Update at 1712 on March 22nd – Eglin Air Force Base Public Affairs says the pilot involved in the F-22 incident is in good condition and was released from the 96th Medical Group.

An F-22 Fighter Jet assigned to the 325th Fighter Wing “experienced a mishap” on landing at Eglin Air Force Base at approximately 10:25am on March 22nd.

Emergency crews responded immediately and the pilot was transported to flight medicine for an evaluation.

An Investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident are underway.
