DOH-OKALOOSA ISSUES WATER QUALITY HEALTH ADVISORY

Advisory Issued for Liza Jackson Park, Garniers Beach Park and Lincoln Park 
 
FT. WALTON BEACH, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Okaloosa County (DOH-Okaloosa) has issued a water quality advisory for the following locations:
 

Liza Jackson Park
338 Miracle Strip Parkway SW
Fort Walton Beach

Garniers Beach Park
257 Beachview Drive NE
Fort Walton Beach

Lincoln Park
1217 N. Bayshore Dr.
Valparaiso

 
Tests completed on Monday, March 31, 2025, indicate that the water quality at Liza Jackson Park, Garniers Beach Park and Lincoln Park does not meet the recreational water quality criteria for Enterococcus bacteria recommended by the Florida Department of Health.
