Preserve Bluewater Bay, LLC, founded by Justin LeMire and four others, aims to save Bluewater Bay’s last two nine-hole golf courses from development. The group seeks to raise $250,000 by March 1 to begin a lease-to-purchase agreement and eventually buy the land for $2.2 million to $2.4 million. Their mission is to preserve the green space, potentially transforming it into recreational areas if golf proves unsustainable.
