The search for a new president of Northwest Florida State College has begun, following the resignation of former president Devin Stephenson. The process, which involves input from the community and the guidance of the Myers McRae search firm, will focus on external candidates. Interim President Christine Kedroski has declined to seek the permanent position, with a new president expected to be appointed by January 2025. The college is hosting additional town halls and encourages public participation in the selection process.

The legacy of Bob Sikes, the legendary politician who served Florida’s District 1 in the U.S. House of Representatives for nearly four decades, is being celebrated with a newly renovated exhibition at Northwest Florida State College’s Robert L.F. Sikes Center in Crestview. Niceville, Florida – The Northwest Florida State College (NWFSC) Forensics Team recently competed in two highly competitive tournaments: the Florida Intercollegiate Forensics Association (FIFA) Tournament at the University of West Florida, and the Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) Tournament hosted virtually by Miami Dade College. The team’s exceptional performance earned them multiple accolades, including the most wins among the top five of competitors.
