Eglin Federal Credit Union has opened a 100,000-square-foot Operations Center in Fort Walton Beach. The building will support 400 employees, strengthen digital services, and help the credit union expand across Northwest Florida and parts of Alabama.
Eglin Federal Credit Union cut the ribbon on a brand-new Operations Center in Fort Walton Beach last week—one designed to support rapid growth and meet increasing demand for digital services.
The four-story, 100,000-square-foot facility can house up to 400 employees and includes a training center, expanded call center, and a disaster-ready design. Energy-efficient features, EV charging stations, and collaborative workspaces aim to attract and retain top talent.
“This Operations Center is a testament to our commitment to innovation and excellence,” said President/CEO Cathie Staton.
The building also brings together departments such as loan services, IT, mortgage services, and collections. Staton credited past and present team members and design partner La Macchia Group for bringing the vision to life.
The center supports Eglin FCU’s continued expansion into Walton, Santa Rosa, and Escambia counties in Florida and Alabama.

Eglin Federal Credit Union has served the region since 1954 and is open to residents, workers, students, and select employee groups across five counties.
