EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. — Drivers in the Eglin area should plan for temporary road closures next week as the 96th Test Wing conducts scheduled testing within the Eglin Test and Training Complex.
Highway 285 will close on April 21 between noon and 3 p.m. to support the mission.
Officials said the closure is expected to last no more than 90 minutes total, but may occur in multiple intervals within the scheduled timeframe as testing activities require.
The temporary shutdown is necessary to ensure safety during testing operations in the area.
Motorists are encouraged to plan and expect delays if traveling near the corridor during the closure window.
