Two People Shot at Fort Walton Beach Days Inn

Two people were hospitalized after a shooting at the Days Inn in Fort Walton Beach on Monday night. Police quickly arrested a suspect and say the incident was isolated and poses no threat to the public.

Fort Walton Beach Police arrested a suspect after two people were shot and injured late Monday night at the Days Inn on Miracle Strip Parkway. Officers say the shooting was an isolated incident and that both victims are in stable condition.

Destin Man Injured in Shooting

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred Friday night at Sea Glass Apartments on Commons Drive in Destin. A 60-year-old man driving a white truck was found with multiple gunshot wounds and is currently being treated at a local hospital. The suspect, who called deputies from within the apartment complex, is in custody. The motive remains unclear.
