Rocky Bayou Christian School Teacher Arrested, Accused of Molestation

Police charged Aaron Craig Gleason with lewd and lascivious molestation of a child under the age of 12 by a person over the age of 18 on Tuesday.

Okaloosa County Jail records show that Gleason remains in jail and has been denied bond.

Profiles on LinkedIn and Facebook with the names A.C. Gleason and Aaron Gleason show that Gleason is a lead teacher who taught Bible at Rocky Bayou Christian School. Gleason included in his profile that he is the middle school’s soccer coach. According to Gleason’s profile, he started at the school in August of 2023.ย ย

In response to the arrest of a teacher at the school, Superintendent of Rocky Bayou Christian School Mike Mosley sent out an email to parents obtained by Mid Bay News that said, “I regret to inform you that one of our Middle School teachers was arrested today by local law enforcement officers. The teacher has been on paid administrative leave and off campus for two weeks. RBCS is fully cooperating with authorities in this matter until authorities have concluded their investigation. Please pray for our school and students during this difficult time.”

According to court records, Gleason has a first appearance hearing on March 13, 2025, and a pretrial conference on April 14, 2025. Both court appearances are in front of Judge Lacey Powell Clark.
