Registration for incoming kindergarteners and new Okaloosa County School District students for the 2025-2026 school year is now open.
Families can begin the process by creating a Focus Parent Portal account, which serves as the district’s primary communication tool for parents.
The Focus Parent Portal allows families to view their student’s class schedules, grades, attendance, and disciplinary records and communicate with teachers. Parents can create an account by visiting the Focus Parent Portal.

Families must use their child’s legal name and provide a valid Okaloosa County address during registration. A registration kiosk is available at each school’s front office for those without internet access.
The online enrollment request will serve as a valid enrollment pending the submission of other required documents, including proof of residence and forms requiring a parent or legal guardian’s signature, to the school. A video tutorial for creating a Parent Portal account is also available here.
