Crestview Councilmember Ryan Bullard Resigns, City Seeks Replacement

A leadership change is coming to Crestview City Hall — and residents now have the opportunity to step into a City Council role shaping the city’s future.

Crestview City Councilmember Ryan Bullard has announced his resignation effective Dec. 31, 2025, citing professional, personal, and health-related considerations. City officials have opened the application process to fill the vacant Precinct 2 seat through the remainder of Bullard’s term, ending in November 2026.

Mayor Whitten Joins National Foreign Policy Summit

Crestview Mayor JB Whitten joined more than 30 mayors from across the country in Washington, D.C., for the Mayors Foreign Policy Summit, a two-day event hosted by the Council on Foreign Relations and the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition. Whitten said the meetings with national policymakers and members of Congress offered valuable insight into how global issues directly affect Crestview and provided an opportunity to voice the city’s concerns at the federal level.

Richbourg Lane to Close Thursday for Drainage Repairs

Richbourg Lane in Crestview will be fully closed on Thursday for drainage repair work, with detours in place from early morning through late afternoon.
