A major shift in the local waste industry is underway as Ecowaste Solutions has acquired Adams Sanitation, significantly expanding its footprint across Northwest Florida and the broader Gulf Coast.
According to an article by EIN Presswire, the deal brings roughly 29,000 customers, about 100 employees, and seven municipal contracts into Ecowaste’s growing regional network.
The acquisition connects Ecowaste’s operations from the Mississippi Gulf Coast through the Florida Panhandle and into Georgia, creating what the company describes as a “contiguous corridor” of waste collection and disposal services.
Adams Sanitation, based in Milton and founded in the 1980s, has built a strong reputation across Santa Rosa and Okaloosa counties, serving communities from Pace and Milton to Crestview, Fort Walton Beach, and Destin.
Its municipal portfolio includes contracts with:
Additional contracts extend into Georgia and North Florida.
Ecowaste CEO Dustin Reynolds said the acquisition fills a key geographic gap following the company’s earlier Gulf Coast expansion this year.
“Adams Sanitation has built something exceptional across the Florida Panhandle,” Reynolds said, pointing to the company’s local relationships, modern fleet, and experienced workforce.
Adams operates about 40 collection vehicles and serves roughly 29,000 residential customers, about 20% of the addressable market in the region.
The company has long emphasized flexible, customer-focused service, offering:
Leadership is expected to remain in place, with Adams CEO Tim Bolduc transitioning into a regional vice president role.
Former owners Nathan Boyles and Crystal Boyles are credited with building long-standing municipal relationships across the region.
The move is part of a broader growth push for Ecowaste, which has made multiple acquisitions across the South and Mid-South in 2026.
With operations now spanning from Texas to Florida, the company says it is focused on scaling services while maintaining local connections, an approach that will be closely watched in communities across the Emerald Coast.
