Drug Raid in Niceville Leads to Several Arrests

A multi-agency drug task force executed a narcotics search warrant on September 4 at a residence on Goldenrod Court in Niceville, leading to the arrest of four individuals and the seizure of illegal drugs, including fentanyl and cocaine.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Multi-Agency Drug Task Force, with support from the Crestview, Fort Walton Beach, and Niceville police departments, carried out the search at 301 Goldenrod Ct. Investigators discovered fentanyl, cocaine, and narcotics paraphernalia inside the home.

Among those arrested was 36-year-old Kaitlin McSweeny of Niceville, who faces charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell and Possession of Drug Equipment. Also taken into custody was 38-year-old Gabriel Johnson of Niceville, charged with Resisting the Execution of a Search Warrant.

Additionally, 55-year-old Tracy Mandolini of Destin was arrested on charges of Resisting the Execution of a Search Warrant, Destruction of Evidence, and Possession of Drug Equipment. Meanwhile, 34-year-old Lucas McCubbin of Niceville, who had an outstanding warrant from the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office has ramped up its efforts to combat narcotics distribution in the region, with the task force actively coordinating with local agencies to target drug-related crimes.
