A local Knights of Columbus chapter has announced it will hold an Oktoberfest event at 3rd Planet Brewing on Saturday, September 19. The arrangement involves the fraternal organization selling food at the brewery’s Niceville location.
According to a statement from organizer Joseph W. Purka, the Knights of Columbus will provide and sell bratwurst, sauerkraut, potato salad, and soft drinks. The host venue, 3rd Planet Brewing, will offer its own beverage selections for purchase separately.
The organization claims that “all proceeds” from food sales will be donated to local charities. The announcement did not specify which charities would receive the funds.
