Lengthy Prison Sentence for Jay Man in Case Involving 8-Year-Old Victim

Kyle Wesley Allen Stover was sentenced to 40 years in state prison followed by lifetime sex offender probation after convictions for multiple offenses involving an 8-year-old child. Judge Clifton Drake also designated Stover as a Sexual Predator. The offenses occurred at a home in Jay between December 2023 and September 2024.
Okaloosa School Board Approves $403,752 in VR Technology and School Security Upgrades

The Okaloosa County School Board approved more than $403,000 for classroom technology and school security. The investments include 60 VR headsets, 2,600 student licenses and teacher training through Prisms of Reality, plus 57 additional security cameras and upgraded equipment at Laurel Hill School.
