$400,000 Closer to A New Fire Station in Niceville

Niceville secured a $400,000 grant to fund engineering and design work for a planned fire station in the Deer Moss Creek Development. The station will address the needs of the city’s growing eastern area, support hurricane preparedness, and improve emergency response times. A timeline for construction has not been announced.

Local businessman, Joe Fagundes of Niceville, will run for the Okaloosa County District Five School Board Seat. The seat, which Incumbent Diane Kelley announced she would not seek re-election for, will be up for election in August 23rd’s primary.
