Bestselling author Lemony Snicket (Daniel Handler) will visit NWFSC on April 16 for a free community reading and book signing as part of the NWF READS series. The event will take place at 7 p.m. at the Mattie Kelly Arts Center in Niceville.

Here’s How the New President Of NWFSC Gets Selected:

The search for a new president of Northwest Florida State College has begun, following the resignation of former president Devin Stephenson. The process, which involves input from the community and the guidance of the Myers McRae search firm, will focus on external candidates. Interim President Christine Kedroski has declined to seek the permanent position, with a new president expected to be appointed by January 2025. The college is hosting additional town halls and encourages public participation in the selection process.

Colin Mochrie and Asad Mecci, creators of Hyprov, blend hypnosis and improv to create an electric stage show. Mecci, the master hypnotist, brings up 20 volunteers, hypnotizes them, and Mochrie improvises with them while under hypnosis. Expect a wacky, high-energy performance that keeps everyone on their toes with unexpected and hilarious moments.
