Members of the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Section arrested 57-year-old fugitive Jeffrey Todd Wagner on January 17, 2024, in Crestview.

Wagner, a wanted man with an extensive criminal record, had several outstanding warrants issued by the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies charge Wagner with Violation of Probation (Lewd and Lascivious Molestation), Sexual Predator Violation (Failure to Report Vacating Residence), Failure to Register as a Sexual Predator, Tampering with an Electronic Monitoring Device, Fleeing and Eluding, Obstruction without Violence, and Driving While License Suspended or Revoked.

The arrest followed efforts by the Special Investigations Section.

Wagner is currently in custody at the Okaloosa County Jail, and faces multiple charges.

The court system has ordered him to be held without bond.

The Sheriff’s Office has expressed gratitude for the efforts of the Special Investigations Section in ensuring the apprehension of this fugitive.

DUIs, more burglaries, drug possession, battery, domestic violence, hunting with a light at night, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, and attempted lewd and lascivious behavior mark the criminal record of the 57-year-old.
