If you are new to the area – or haven’t been paying laser-focused attention to everything Middle School – you might not know what the options are for your child’s education in Niceville or Valparaiso! (up until we researched all of this information, we hadn’t either!)
All told, there are a total of 7️⃣ options for middle schoolers in Niceville, Valparaiso, Bluewater Bay and Eglin Air Force Base for middle school education!
Here’s what we’ve got:
There are two middle schools for students in the Niceville and Valparaiso area. These include the Lewis School and Ruckel Middle School. For more information about the public schools available in the area, click on a logo or a button!
Ruckel Middle School happens to continually score among the best middle schools in the state of Florida. The schools serves students in Niceville north of Valparaiso Boulevard and Bluewater Bay.
The Lewis School serves students from Kindergarten - 8th grade. Middle School-aged children from K-8 attend the campus in Valparaiso. The school serves students in Valparaiso and Niceville south of Valparaiso Boulevard.
The Liza Jackson Preparatory School aims to be the premier educator of Okaloosa County's best and brightest between grades Kindergarten through 8th.
Northwest Florida Ballet Académie combines rigorous coursework with a competitive selection process for both academics and ballet.
'Rocky' or 'Rocky Bayou,' as it is informally known, instructs children K-12 in a Christian Worldview. The Campus is located on Partin Drive in Niceville.
Okaloosa STEMM Academy is a middle school preparatory program which focuses intently on Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medical curriculum. Rigorous academics highlight student life in this school.
St. Mary's Catholic School. in Fort Walton Beach is the area's only Catholic school. The School serves students K-8.
