Niceville’s Storage Wars Draw Social Media Annoyance
Go through any Niceville Facebook page over the last six months or so, and you’ll notice a pretty common occurrence.
It’s the complaints about storage units. After seeing plenty of these complaints up and down our social media feeds, we decided it was high time someone went and figured out why we are seeing so many getting built.

Walgreens Will Pay $500K To Okaloosa To Settle Opioid Lawsuit
220 people died from opioid overdoses in Okaloosa County between 2016 and 2020. It makes each death worth a little over $2,500 – according to an agreement between the State of Florida and Walgreens that was made earlier this year. The total compensation to be distributed to Okaloosa County: $500,000 over the next 18 years.
Valparaiso City Commission Plots Path for Senior Center
Mayor Brent Smith’s words from the dais Monday night May 9th stirred ire and accusations of attempts to quell free speech online. He made the comment in relation to comments about him, the county attorney and the potential contract which was written up to allow a 501(c)3 nonprofit to take over the operations of the Valparaiso Senior Center.
