In a significant operation, the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Multi-Agency Drug Task Force, aided by the Criminal Investigations Section, executed a narcotics search warrant at 8540 Highway 189. The search yielded a substantial seizure of illegal drugs, including fentanyl, cocaine, psychedelic mushrooms, and approximately eight pounds of marijuana. Officials also discovered evidence of drug distribution on the premises.
Kevin Lee McKinney, 45, has been arrested and charged with multiple drug-related offenses, including Trafficking in Fentanyl, Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, and Possession of Narcotics Paraphernalia.
The Multi-Agency Drug Task Force, which includes the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, Crestview Police Department, Niceville Police Department, and Fort Walton Beach Police Department, works collaboratively to target, disrupt, and dismantle drug trafficking and money laundering organizations in Okaloosa County.
