General Overview of The Richbourg School

The Richbourg School, located in Crestview, is an institution that caters to the needs of Okaloosa County Children and Adults (up to age 22) with “highly complex academic and behavioral/emotional needs.”

The goal of the school, according to its website, is to create good members of society in Okaloosa County and beyond. 

History of The Richbourg School

According to an article written about Richboug by Jim Chitwood for Northwest Florida State College, the namesake of Richbourg School, Lance Richbourg served as the superintendent of the Okaloosa County School District and helped to get Northwest Florida State College from the drawing board into the real world.
