The 44th Annual Jingle Bell Jog is on it’s way to the Emerald Coast.

The 5K and 10K race, which benefits the 7th Special Forces Association will start at The Island Hotel on Okaloosa Island at 8AM.

Runners who wish to sign up early (and get a registration discount) can do so at 7sfa.com

Steve Schutt, with The Schutt Team, sponsored this years event and says that supporting this cause helps to support the community as a whole. The event, “takes care of people who take care of us around the world. A lot of people know someone who didn’t come back or have issues after they have returned. It means a lot to be able to raise money and help them out,” Schutt said.

Runners can pick up their pre-race packets either at the Subway restaurant on the 7th Special Forces Group compound between 10am and 1pm on December 2nd – or at The Island Hotel the same day from 3pm to 6pm.

You can also pick up your race packet the day of the event between 6:30am and 7:45am – though, the organizers discourage it because of the heavy crowds during the race day.

Registration before November 15th for the 5K race is $25.99 and $30.99 for the 10K race. Late registration takes place between November 16th and December 2nd. Cost to enter the 5K race is $35.99 and cost to enter the 10K race is $30.99.
