NICEVILLE, Fla. — Tickets for the second annual Emerald Coast Classic women’s college basketball tournament will be available starting at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, on the event’s official website, www.emeraldcoastclassic.com. Prices start at $20 per session, which includes two games.
The tournament will be held Nov. 24-25 at Raider Arena on the campus of Northwest Florida State College. Championships will be determined in two separate brackets.
The Bay Bracket features Mississippi State, Providence, Middle Tennessee State and Alcorn State. Providence will face Middle Tennessee State at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 24, followed by Mississippi State against Alcorn State at 1:30 p.m. The third-place game is scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, and the championship game will begin at 1:30 p.m.
The Beach Bracket includes Nebraska, Virginia, Northwestern State and Purdue Fort Wayne. Nebraska and Purdue Fort Wayne will meet at 5 p.m. Monday, with Virginia and Northwestern State tipping off at 7:30 p.m. The third-place game is set for 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, and the championship game will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Last season, Mississippi State posted a 22-12 record and advanced to the second round of the 2025 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament. Nebraska finished 21-12 and also participated in the 2025 NCAA tournament. Middle Tennessee State went 26-8 in 2024-25 and competed in the 2025 Women’s Basketball Invitational.
Alabama and Creighton won the Bay Bracket and Beach Bracket, respectively, in the inaugural 2024 Emerald Coast Classic.
