Season takes place May 20 - June 4

The Emerald Coast Chamber Music Festival has announced its 2023 season, set to take place from May 20th to June 4th. The festival will feature several concerts by world-renowned classical musicians who will perform and teach at the annual Chamber Music Institute for university and conservatory students.

The festival’s 2023 Showcase Series will begin with a performance by The Ezra Duo, a Canada-based ensemble that will bring together virtuoso classical techniques with the unpredictable nature of jazz. The series will also feature the Velox Quartett, consisting of the core artist faculty of the chamber music institute, performing a mix of well-known and lesser-known chamber music selections.

The festival will conclude with the Young Artists of the Chamber Music Institute, who will present music they learned while attending the festival and studying under the CMI artist faculty. These young artists are selected through a competitive audition process and come from top-notch schools across the USA and Canada.

Most events of the Emerald Coast Chamber Music Festival will be held at Tyler Recital Hall, a venue renowned for its acoustics, located in the music wing of the Mattie Kelly Arts Center at Northwest Florida State College (NWFSC).

Tickets for the Showcase Series can be purchased in advance through Eventbrite for $20, while Young Artist concerts are free of charge. However, registration is required for the season-concluding concert, which can also be done through Eventbrite. Passes to watch masterclasses are available upon request by emailing the festival staff at emeraldcoastchambermusic@gmail.com.
