Crestview, Fla. – Cincinnati-based kitchen cabinet and countertop provider Sims-Lohman has purchased a 65,000-square-foot facility in Crestview, Florida, which will serve as the company’s new Gulf Coast headquarters. The facility, located west of Bob Sikes Airport, will house regional distribution operations and granite and quartz countertop manufacturing.
The company expects the Crestview facility to employ approximately 90 people once fully operational. A ribbon-cutting and open house are scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 7, at 5680 John Givens Road.
“This new facility represents a major milestone in our growth strategy,” Sims-Lohman CEO John Beiersdorfer said. “By expanding our footprint along the Gulf Coast, we’re not only investing in operational efficiency—we’re investing in the local community. We’re proud to bring new jobs and long-term opportunities to the region.”
Okaloosa County Board Chairman Paul Mixon said the county welcomes the company. “We look forward to their success and the opportunities they will create for our residents,” he said.
Sims-Lohman has expanded along the Gulf Coast over the past 18 months through acquisitions of Linn’s Prestige Kitchens and Baths, Kay’s Prestige Kitchens and Baths, and The Legacy Cabinet Company. The company now operates 38 sales showrooms, 18 regional distribution centers, and seven countertop manufacturing plants across 12 states.
Nathan Sparks, executive director of One Okaloosa EDC, which assisted with the facility search, said the company has a record of supporting the communities it operates in. “We know they will be a great addition to Crestview and Okaloosa County,” Sparks said.
