Niceville Police served a warrant on a local bike shop that resulted in two arrests.
Investigators took Kyle Vincent and Coleen Gooding into custody at Alpine Bicycles on Howell Road beside Basil and Baxters. They’ve since formally charged the longtime couple with possession of a firearm and ammunition by a felon and drug possession.
Police say a spoon with burn marks, tin foil and syringes tested positive for the presence of methamphetamines. According to the affadavit, Vincent admitted the pair smoked meth earlier in the day – Gooding invoked her fifth amendment right and remained silent.
The affidavit for Vincent’s arrests does not give any detail that would explain the arrest for firearm or ammunition possession – but does have two paragraphs of redacted text at the bottom of the affidavit.
Okaloosa County Jail released Gooding on her own recognizance, in accordance with the courts order. It is unclear if Vincent has paid his $10,000 bond to be released pending trial.
Vincent does not have a felony case against him in Okaloosa County Courts, but does have a record of traffic fines and eviction proceedings in Okaloosa County courts dating to 2015.
