Byron Donalds, Republican candidate for Florida’s next governor, visited Niceville Monday morning for his Defending the Florida Dream Tour.
Donalds spoke to a crowd at Faith Independent Baptist Church, urging supporters to vote Republican and emphasizing his care for affordability and Florida families/children.
“We are the state that people run to,” Donalds said at the rally. “We’re not the state that they run from, and the reason why they choose our state, the reason why they run to our state, the reason why they escape the blue hellholes up north and out west is because Florida is a state based on common sense, conservative principles, family values, law and order and we follow the Constitution and we leave you alone. That’s why we are the free state of Florida.”
