Northwest Florida State College will host its 6th annual Women in Science conference on September 29th.
Women from various Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics career fields will present about their careers and hope to inspire young women to pursue jobs in those fields as well.
This year’s speakers will discuss groundbreaking, memorable moments in their careers – and how they overcame challenges to get where they are today.
Money raised from the conference, which can be attended in person or virtually, will go toward the Emerald Coast Science Center’s Girls Empowered with Math and Science (GEMS) program.
