Niceville contractors clear the way for this new business:

The demolition of the old Florida Power and Light Building on John Sims Parkway and Bullock will make way for a new Chase Bank location.

The facility will feature walk-in banking as well as an ATM.

The demolition, which began in the last month, will allow contractors to build a new 3,300-square-foot bank location in the city. Currently, the property is valued by the Okaloosa County property appraiser at about $825,000.

The construction of the new Chase Bank in Niceville will increase the number of financial institutions – both banks and credit unions – in the city to 12.

There is no indication from the public records Mid Bay News pulled of when the project will be completed.
