New opportunities will soon be available to Northwest Florida State College students. Dr. Margareth Larose, the Founding Campus Dean, Director, and Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Florida A&M University (FAMU) College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences Institute of Public Health, Durell Peaden, Jr. Rural Pharmacy Education Campus in Crestview, recently announced that FAMU College of Pharmacy and NWFSC will soon sign a 2+4 Articulation Agreement.
The agreement will provide FAMU pharmacy students with on-campus housing at NWFSC and ensure that NWFSC students are smoothly admitted into FAMU College of Pharmacy. This agreement will, in turn, ease concerns surrounding housing and pharmacy school admission, allowing current and prospective students to focus on their studies and continue toward their career goals.
The articulation agreement is the second between FAMU and NWFSC; the FAMU School of Architecture implemented the first.
The public signature event to secure ties between the colleges will occur on June 4th, 2024, at 11:00 a.m.
