NORTHWEST FLORIDA — Mills Heating & Air, a local HVAC company, has announced it plans to give away a new heating and air conditioning system, including installation, to a local military veteran. According to a press release, the giveaway is open to veterans living within its service area, which it defines as the region from Navarre to Panama City Beach.
The company is accepting public nominations through its website until October 9. In the release, owner Chris White stated, “When we have an opportunity to use our trade to make someone’s home safer and more comfortable, especially for a veteran who has served our country, that’s something our whole team is proud to be part of.”
Mills Heating & Air said it will announce the recipient of the HVAC system at an event at the Walton Area Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, October 15. The company stated the event, scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., will also include a complimentary lunch for “local heroes.”
