Mary Anne Windes, Enters Okaloosa County Commission District 5 Race

Mary Anne Windes has thrown her hat in the ring to compete against Drew Palmer for the District 5 Commission Seat

Another competitor has entered the arena in the Okaloosa County Commission District 5 race – and it’s a familiar name.

Mary Anne Windes, wife of former Okaloosa County Commissioner for District 5 Captain Kelly Windes, filed paperwork with the Okaloosa County Supervisor of Elections Office to run for the office.

The other competitor for the office (so far) is Congressman Matt Gaetz-Endorsed Destin Resident Drew Palmer.

You can learn more about this (and all of the other races this election cycle) by visiting midbaynews.com/elections.

We will work to get information and an interview with Mrs. Windes in

the next week.
