Niceville High School, Georgia Tech Football Alum Signs with Dallas Cowboys.

Juanyeh Thomas, a 2018 graduate of Niceville High School, secured a chance at a future in professional football when he signed with the Dallas Cowboys on April 30th.

The undrafted free agent started in 33 games at defensive back for Georgia Tech. He played in all 47 games he was eligible to play in. During his time with the Yellow Jackets, he was named a 2021 All-ACC Honorable Mention at defensive back and a 2018 True Freshman All-American as a kick returner.

Thomas played football and basketball for Niceville High School. In his senior year of high school, Thomas averaged 2.1 tackles per game and scored four touchdowns.

Thomas graduated from Georgia Tech with a B.S. in literature, media and communication in December 2021.

Thomas is one of five siblings. His older brother Azende Rey, played football at Florida A&M from 2017-2020 before ending his time in college football as a receiver and return specialist at Georgia Tech.

His younger brother Azareye’h Thomas currently plays cornerback at Florida State.
