The Niceville High School Boys Lacrosse team begins their 4th season as a varsity sport on the 15th of February when they host West Florida at home.

The Eagles have grown by leaps and bounds from their first season – according to head Coach Lou Albiero. They hope to sit atop the Panhandle’s pile at the end of the season – and maybe go even further into the postseason – with a talented group that has a solid roster from the attack to the goal.

Last season saw the Eagles earn an 11-4 record. The team’s season ended after a one-goal loss to Buchholz – a team that beat them by seven goals earlier in the season in Niceville.

The team will also look to knock off perennial Panhandle top dog – Gulf Breeze. The Dolphins beat the Eagles by eight in 2021.

The Eagles will have to get a lot of tough wins on the road this year – they play South Walton in Santa Rosa Beach, Chiles in Tallahassee and Gulf Breeze in Gulf Breeze.
