Road and Boat Ramp Closures:
Niceville City Manager David Deitch dropped the details about the Boggy Bayou Fireworks Festival planned for Independence day celebrations next month.
Niceville will shut down Lions Park on Boggy Bayou on July 4 and prepare for the festival, which will start at 3 PM. Music will begin at 6 PM, and fireworks will start at 8:45 PM, accompanied by music.
Fireworks will be broadcast from the fire dock, allowing you to view them online. The music will also extend across the Bayou, serving those watching the fireworks in Valparaiso.
Deitch noted that there will likely be several food trucks at the event in Lyons Park, as well as a local snow cone vendor.
Deitch encouraged residents to “Come on and enjoy the celebration” and emphasized that the fireworks committee is planning “a fantastic firework show.”
