A Fort Walton Beach man has pleaded guilty to federal drug trafficking and firearm charges, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Florida. Anthony Bernard Allen, 54, entered a guilty plea to two counts of possession with intent to distribute cocaine and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
According to court documents cited in the announcement, law enforcement executed a search warrant at Allen’s residence in Fort Walton Beach on March 19, 2026. During the search, officers claim they seized 950 grams of cocaine, 37 grams of cocaine base, a loaded handgun, and ammunition. Less than one month later, on April 17, officers conducted a traffic stop on Allen and reportedly observed him attempting to discard a bag of cocaine.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office stated that Allen faces a mandatory minimum sentence of five years and up to 40 years in prison, to be followed by a period of supervised release. His sentencing is scheduled for December 29, 2026, at the United States Courthouse in Pensacola. The case was investigated by the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, the ATF, and the DEA.
