Election Day – Voters head to the polls to decide who will be Val-p’s Next Mayor

Today is election day in Valparaiso.

The only race on the ballot – for the Mayor’s seat.

Two men are competing for the privilege to serve as mayor – Incumbent Brent Smith and Challenger Patrick Palmer.

We will be covering the election and will let you know who the next Mayor will be.

Election results could come in as early as this evening.

Voting will be held at Precinct #15, New Hope Baptist Church, 108 Aurora St., Valparaiso, on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Voting will be conducted in compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act; for information or assistance, call 850-689-5600.
