DEVELOPING: Isaias resources and updates

Mid Bay News is a news organization. While we cover what happens before, during and after tropical weather – we are NOT a weather outlet and we’re not going to pretend to be. We don’t have meteorologists on staff want to direct you to the best information possible – instead of pretending to have it ourselves.

Our Recommendations for local weather

Panhandle Weather – Chris Smith is a former local TV Meteorologist and has been through tropical storms and hurricanes many times. He covered Hurricane Michael and is well equipped with experience.

Red Zone Weather – Spinks Meggison’s outfit has been bringing independent weather updates to the panhandle and Southeast Alabama for more than a decade and has the degrees and experience to back up what he’s saying. He’s also further inland, so he has different factors than Chris as to weather conditions and their effects on his operation.

Here’s the list of closures and updates in advance of the tropical weather we expect from Isaias on Friday.
