DeSantis Appoints Three To NWFSC Board of Trustees

In Brief:

🔹 Gov. DeSantis appointed one new trustee and reappointed two others to the Northwest Florida State College Board.

🔹 Appointee Lyndsi Stevens is a defense industry executive and former adjunct professor at the college.

🔹 Reappointees Cory Fosdyck and Jack “Tanner” Peacock have business and civic backgrounds in finance and real estate.

NICEVILLE — Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has appointed Lyndsi Stevens and reappointed Cory Fosdyck and Jack “Tanner” Peacock to the Northwest Florida State College District Board of Trustees, his office announced Friday.

 

Stevens, a former adjunct professor at the college, currently serves as Chief Marketing Officer for Celerium, Inca defense contractor. She holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Florida State University, a master’s in communication from Georgetown University, and is pursuing a doctorate in leadership from Liberty University.

 

Fosdyck, who owns Krueger, Fosdyck, Brown, McCall & Associates Private Wealth Management, is returning to the board. He is active in local organizations, including the Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center and the Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital Florida Board of Directors. He earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from Western Illinois University.

Peacock, also reappointed, is a Broker Associate with Scenic Sotheby’s International Realty. His past civic involvement includes serving on the Walton County Planning Commission, the Walton County Design Review Board, and the City of Destin Local Planning Agency. He holds a degree in finance from Auburn University.

All three appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
