Sheriff’s Office Conducts Arrest on Fir Avenue in Niceville for Child Pornography

Members of the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, in collaboration with the Multi-Agency Drug Task Force, executed a search warrant at a residence on Fir Avenue today. The operation was prompted by a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) regarding suspected child pornography.

Eighteen-year-old Elliott Celestine was arrested and charged with 25 counts of possession of child pornography. Additionally, Celestine faces two counts of possession of sexual imagery involving animals and one count of using a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony.

The investigation began when NCMEC alerted local authorities to potential illicit activity involving child exploitation material.

Following the tip, a thorough investigation led to the issuance of a search warrant for Celestine’s home.

During the search, investigators discovered substantial evidence supporting the charges against Celestine. He was taken into custody without incident and is currently being held at the Okaloosa County Jail.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office emphasized in a press release the importance of community vigilance and reporting suspicious activities, as tips from organizations like NCMEC are crucial in combating child exploitation.
