
One by land and one by sea (or bayou) – The Niceville-Valparaiso Rotary Club will host both the Community Christmas Parade and Christmas Boat Parade over the next couple of weekends.
The Niceville-Valparaiso Community Christmas Parade will take place on December 10th at 10:00 AM and feature everyone from the Niceville Fire Department to the Niceville Eagles Lacrosse Club.
The parade will gather gifts for Toys for Tots. Residents and float participants are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys for needy kids. Volunteers will collect toys at the front of the parade.
In order to participate in the parade, a representative from each group that wants to participate has to attend a meeting on Tuesday, December 6th at 6:00pm. The meeting takes place at the Niceville Community Center.
Non-Profits can enter the parade for $30. For-profit organizations can enter for $65.
The parade will take start from the intersection of John Sims Parkway and Palm Boulevard. From there, the route will head to Partin drive (SR85).

It wouldn’t be a Boggy Christmas without a boat parade! On December 18th, the Niceville Val-p Rotary Club will host a Christmas Boat Parade in Rocky Bayou to raise money for Niceville’s Sharing and Caring non-profit.

Boat owners can register here to participate in the boat parade. The parade will start outside of the Emerald Coast Marine facility in Niceville. The cost to participate is $30.
