VALPARAISO, Fla. – The ALTA Good Deeds Foundation has awarded a $6,000 grant to A Bed 4 Me Foundation, a nonprofit that provides beds to children in need. The grant was announced as part of the foundation’s first round of biannual awards for 2025, with 17 nonprofit organizations nationwide receiving funding.
Angela Harder of Bradley Title, LLC in Niceville nominated A Bed 4 Me Foundation for the grant. The ALTA Good Deeds Foundation, a charitable organization established by the American Land Title Association (ALTA), has awarded more than $1.2 million in grants to 211 nonprofits nationwide since its founding in 2020.
“We are honored to be the recipient of this grant from the ALTA Good Deeds Foundation,” said Diane Freeman, executive director of A Bed 4 Me Foundation. “Our organization will use this grant to ensure that children have a place of their own to sleep at night by providing bedding kits at no cost to local families.”
The ALTA Good Deeds Foundation announced grant recipients during ALTA EDge, a conference held March 19-21 in Louisville, Ky. ALTA CEO Diane Tomb said the foundation extends the title insurance industry’s commitment to homeownership beyond its core business, supporting community initiatives that help families build better futures.
Mary O’Donnell, chair of the ALTA Good Deeds Foundation Board and CEO of Westcor Land Title Insurance Co., highlighted the impact of the grants. “These grants empower local organizations to continue their critical work, strengthening neighborhoods and supporting those in need,” she said.
The ALTA Good Deeds Foundation allows title insurance professionals to apply for grants on behalf of 501(c)(3) organizations they support through financial contributions or volunteer efforts, with preference given to housing-related charities.
