The 3rd Planet Brewing Bike Club wants to help bring Christmas Cheer to the people living at Twin Cities Pavilion this holiday season.

The group, which meets on Mondays between March and the beginning of Daylight Saving Time in November to ride through Niceville and then grab a pint, organized a present drive for the residents of Twin Cities Pavilion this year after another organization decided to discontinue the practice.

Members of the club have interviewed all of the residents and gotten their requests for Christmas presents.

Patrons are encouraged to pick out a person and purchase their requests – or buy items on a list the pavilion generally needs. Anyone who picks a person to support off the tree should leave contact information with the bartender on duty so that they know who is responsible for which resident.

Donors can drop off their items for the residents on either November 30 or December 1 between 2-4 or 6-8 PM.

“We just really want people to be aware of the people at the pavilion,” said organizer Kim Henderson, “They sometimes get overlooked, and we want to make sure they are not forgotten.”

This year, the bike club has already donated Halloween goodie bags to the pavilion. In the past, the bicycle club has also organized or participated in toy drives for children at Christmas, back-to-school campaigns, and a hurricane relief project. “The group really likes to do community-oriented events,” Henderson said, “
