A Jury convicted 30A resident, comedian, and actor Russell Brand of sex crimes in a London, United Kingdom, Courtroom.
Brand, 50, lives off County Highway 30A in South Walton County on the north side of US Highway 98, according to records maintained by the Walton County Property Appraiser. He purchased a home in the area in 2024, according to the New York Post.
Reuters reports that Brand will likely face prison time in the United Kingdom and that there are further accusations against Brand that could see the inside of the courtroom in the near future.
The four-week trial ended in his conviction on a single rape charge and three more convictions for sexual assault.
Yahoo explained that a judge told him to expect a lengthy prison sentence.
