Florida State’s duo, Zay Parks (Crestview) and Azareye’h Thomas (Niceville), played in the home game against Boston College on Monday night. The Seminoles will next take on Memphis at home on September 14.

Jaden Voisin (Crestview) starred for South Alabama, recording six tackles in the Jaguars’ 52-38 loss to the University of North Texas. His twin brother, Devin Voisin, also had a strong showing, catching five passes for 60 yards in the same game.

Niceville’s Khalil Jacobs transferred to the Missouri Tigers and made an impact with a solo tackle, an assist, and a sack in Missouri’s 41-13 victory over Murray State. The Tigers will next host the University of Buffalo before welcoming Boston College on September 14.

Collin Sorenson, a former Niceville Eagle, was sidelined as his team, the Charleston Southern Buccaneers, lost a nail-biter, 22-21, to their crosstown rivals, The Citadel.

Marcus Patterson of Crestview High School made his mark with two tackles, though his Western Kentucky Hilltoppers suffered a tough 63-0 defeat against Alabama in Tuscaloosa. The Hilltoppers are set to face Eastern Kentucky on September 7.

Kimo Makane’ole, also a Niceville alum, watched from the sidelines as LSU fell to USC 27-20 in a close contest in Las Vegas. The Tigers will host Nicholls State on September 7.

Former South Walton Seahawk Kemper Hodges didn’t see playing time in Air Force’s 21-6 win over Merrimack College. The Falcons will host San José State next weekend.

Kayleb Wagner, a former Baker School standout, did not appear in Southern Illinois University-Carbondale’s 41-13 loss to BYU.

Finally, Niceville alum Dramarian McNulty played his first game for Eastern Michigan, contributing three solo tackles and three assists in the Eagles’ 28-14 victory over UMass. The Eagles will head to Seattle to face the University of Washington on September 7.
