Local Kiwanians and volunteers came together to complete a heartwarming project on Friday, as they prepared 240 duffle bags filled with supplies for foster children in the area.

The project was organized by Toni Hunter, who received a special thank you from the Kiwanians and all involved. Hunter, along with two other volunteers, transported the supplies to Crosspoint Church where the event took place.
The project began early in the morning as volunteers started arriving to help prepare the bags. Members of the Kiwanis Club, as well as key and builder clubbers, were among the volunteers who helped out. By 2PM, over 15 volunteers had contributed to the project.

After completing the bags, Families First representative arrived to transport them to the Shalimar office. The Kiwanians and volunteers expressed their gratitude to Crosspointe staff for providing the space and facilities for the project.
The duffle bag project was deemed a great success, with everyone involved expressing their enthusiasm to continue the initiative as an annual project.
