The Geek Lights on the Corner is pleased to announce the selection of Niceville’s Twin Cities
Pavillion as the sponsored charity for Season 19. Twin Cities Pavillion is a private, not for profit
assisted living facility that has been in business for over forty years. Their mission is to provide
a safe living alternative for persons who are no longer secure living on their own.
“We could not be more blessed than to live in a community that demonstrates such
concern for its vulnerable elderly and handicapped individuals,” said Patti Snow, Twin Cities
Pavillion Facility Director. “Being chosen for Geek Lights on the Corner is like the ultimate gift
of selflessness. With their support we will continue our efforts to provide a loving and safe

alternative for those at-risk who no longer feel secure living alone. You are truly angels!!” For
those wishing to contribute, there will be a cash donation box located in the show’s viewing area,
as well as a QR code for electronic donations. As always, 100% of the collected funds will go
directly to our sponsored charity.
The Geek Lights consists of thousands of Christmas lights and other themed display elements, all
animated under computer control and synchronized to music and stories. Public shows are
scheduled to begin on November 30 th and will run through January 6 th . The nightly free
performances take place in Bluewater Bay at the corner of Bluewater Blvd and Antiqua Way,
beginning at 6:00 PM each evening.
The overall show format has changed this year. Instead of a 30-minute show, the Geek Lights
will feature two different 30-minute shows that run back-to-back. “We hope this will give our
guests the flexibility to watch all or part of the show,” said Jeff Werner, chief Geek, and
proprietor of the show. “I am always hearing from people that we left out one of their favorites,
so this new format will give me the room to include a lot more content without having the whole
show filled with repeated songs.” Shows begin on the hour, with a brief intermission, then Part 2
starting on the half hour. Shows will end at 10:00 PM Sunday-Thursday, and 11:00 PM on
Fridays, Saturdays, and holiday eves.
Geek Lights on the Corner is the technical and creative wizardry of Jeff Werner, the “Northwest
Florida Geek” and Wendy Werner, his “Spouse Peripheral”. Jeff is author of the weekly
computers and technology Q&A feature “It’s Geek to Me,” which currently appears online at
ItsGeekToMe.co, locally on Niceville.com and in newspapers and other publications across the
country.
