EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. – Eglin’s Wildland Fire Branch will conduct prescribed burns between June 25 – 28, 2026, from 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. each day, weather permitting.
The burn area is east of County Line Road, approximately 0.5 miles north of U.S. Highway 98 and west of Range Road A-21 near residential property toward Florosa north of the U.S. Highway 98 area.
The burn will span 450 to 1,000 acres in the western portion of the range.
The smoke is predicted to rise 3,000 feet and move north over the Eglin Range.
