Eglin FCU Honors Anna Klepser for 25 Years of Devotion

FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla.Eglin Federal Credit Union recently recognized longtime employee Anna Klepser for reaching a milestone of 25 years of service with the organization.

Klepser, a member service counselor at the credit union’s Bluewater Bay branch, currently resides in Niceville.

The credit union held a celebratory breakfast on March 6 at the Bluewater Bay location to honor Klepser’s career and dedication. Friends, family, and coworkers gathered to recognize her contributions to the organization and its members.

According to the credit union, Klepser began her career with Eglin Federal Credit Union on March 1, 2001, as a teller at the Mary Esther branch. She later transferred to the Eglin branch, where she served as a membership officer and was promoted to senior membership officer.

 

Over the years, Klepser held several roles within the organization, including member service counselor, human resources assistant, and branch member service floater, supporting multiple branch locations.

In October 2013, she moved into her current position as a member service counselor at the Bluewater Bay branch, where the credit union says she has become a trusted resource for coworkers and a familiar face to members who regularly seek her assistance.

Bluewater Bay Branch Manager Shannon Whitaker praised Klepser’s long-term dedication to the credit union and its members.

“Anna has exemplified integrity, commitment, and care through every challenge and every success over her 25-year career at Eglin FCU,” Whitaker said. “Her hard work has strengthened our organization and helped us serve our members with excellence.”

Klepser said the credit union has felt like family throughout her career.

“I’ve been with Eglin FCU half my life, which probably explains why everyone here feels like family,” she said. “It’s been a joy to grow with such an exceptional team.”

Klepser added that she looks forward to continuing to serve members and building new memories with her coworkers in the years ahead.

During the celebration, Klepser was recognized alongside Cathie Staton, president and CEO of Eglin Federal Credit Union.

Founded in 1954, Eglin Federal Credit Union serves military members, government employees, and residents across Northwest Florida and southern Alabama.
